1. Do Not Worry

If you’re an entrepreneur making waves, chances are whoever is trying to sue you, sees your progressive strides, and out of spite they want to derail your path to success. Let them keep sipping that haterade, that’s not your business. Worrying won’t do anything. Brush the emotional stress off your shoulders and focus on the solution.
2. CALL a LAWYER

Before you dive into excessive legal fees, get advice from lawyers in your circle. This isn’t your best friend who took a law class in college, or your family friend that sees this as an opportunity to make a quick buck off you. Speak to someone that knows the law. They will point you in the right direction! Surely there’s a lawyer somewhere on your smartphone or facebook. Perhaps your sister, bother, cousin’s cousin? Lawyer’s aren’t hard to find! So start looking!
3. Do your due diligence

Lawsuits can be stressful, and put you in a fragile state of mind. Unfortunately, there are predators out there that will see this as an opportunity to take advantage of you. Before you hire anyone, do a full background check on the person to ensure they are capable of representing YOU in this specific case.
There are a lot of disbarred lawyers out there tryna scam you out of your hard earned money.
4. Keep Working

Unless you have a property lein or a court restriction on your business practices, continue your business affairs and live your life! Lawsuits can take months, years, and even decades!… Do you think Bill Gates stops producing software when he is hit with a lawsuit? In fact, now you gotta make more money so you can afford those legal fees!
