1. Realize that Money is a tool.
Do not love or hate it. It was created to be exchanged. So invest it!
2. Don’t Just Focus on the Money
Focus on the value you’re providing to your costumers. There are lots of people out there chasing the paper. When you speak to successful billionaires you will find that the money was never their motivation, their motivation is always their product and the value it adds to their customers’ lives.
3. Learn How to Invest
Better to invest your money in a resource that bears fruit in the long term than to hoard it or even worse spend it on consumer goods you don’t need. Generationally, the value of money is always going down. Invest in appreciating assets (Real estate, stocks, your financial education, your business etc) not liabilities and consumer goods (Cars, Chanel bags etc). As the saying goes, ‘buy assets, lease liabilities’.
Sorry to break it to you, but all those rap videos have it all wrong! Unless you have a strong financial foundation, paying cash for cars is the fast track to bankruptcy.

Speak to a financial advisor about the best ways to invest your money. Don’t forget to do your due diligence before giving anyone your money.

4. Understand that Money isn’t the Answer to All Your Problems.
Many believe that money results in a full and happier life. This is a false prophecy society/ the media spreads to feed our capitalist culture. Your mental and physical health are the most important thing you need to live your best life.

5. Learn How to Use your Resources Without Money
Money isn’t the only tool you need to achieve your goals, be creative and resourceful. Chances are, if you don’t know how to be resourceful on a $1,000 budget, you wont know how to be resourceful on a $1,000,000 budget, and you will end up wasting a lot of money.
6. Be Patient
A tree doesn’t grow overnight. So don’t think you’ll be a millionaire tomorrow. Remember that you are invaluable, you are worth more than the money. It may take a couple failed ventures for you to reap any benefits. Believe in yourself, avoid distractions, be persistent, consistent, focused, adaptable, detail oriented and always do your best. Whatever you’re experiencing now is conditioning you for what’s to come.
7. Enjoy your Hustle
Despite what you may think, there is beauty in your struggles. Start living your best life NOW. Be present and be appreciative of what you have, because there are certain luxuries you have now that you will not have at the peak of your wealth. As the saying goes ‘More money, more problems’.
